Get a Taste Of The Music Festival

The Willows Rustic Retreat is located on a scenic 17-acre private property in the heart of Camrose County—just five miles west of New Norway and conveniently situated one hour south of Edmonton, one hour north of Red Deer, and 30 minutes from Camrose, Wetaskiwin, and Bashaw—this exclusive, family-friendly music festival offers a truly unique and intimate rural experience. Proudly hosted by James and Roberta Baker, the event blends natural beauty with the warmth of small-community hospitality.

We gather on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional lands of the Plains Cree, Stoney, Blackfoot, Nakota Sioux, Saulteaux, Métis, Dene, Ojibwe, Iroquois, Anishinaabe, and Inuit peoples. We acknowledge and honor the deep connections these Nations have to this land, and we commit to fostering a spirit of respect, reconciliation, and shared celebration.

Held annually on the third weekend in July, the festival is intentionally limited to 200 guests, fostering a relaxed, close-knit environment where artists and audiences engage on a personal level. The result is a memorable celebration of live music, community spirit, and the enduring charm of country living.

Featuring performers from across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, the festival continues to cultivate a genuine appreciation for original music while honoring the land and traditional values that define life in the Canadian prairies.
